Final Instructions
The Tavy13 Primary schools challenge will take place in the Meadows this year, on Sunday 24th March. Registration will open at 8.45am and close at 9.45am. We will be based behind Meadowlands Swimming pool. There will be no numbers this year, just T-shirts to pick up. There is no official car parking so please allow time to find a space and walk to the venue.
The first run will start at 10am, this will be for pre-school and years 1 & 2. I will have a few athletes running with this group. Parents/older siblings are also encouraged to accompany the youngsters.
The second run will be for years 3 & 4 then the final one for 5 & 6 pupils.
The run will take the children out the park at both ends so there will be a short time that the children are running on the pavement beside busy roads (the length of the bridges over the Tavy). We will have marshals in place to supervise the children at these points.
Those runners that were entered by Sunday 10th March will get a t shirt on the day. Those who entered after this date will get one as soon as possible after the 24th.
TAC will have a refreshment stall serving teas and coffees and probably some cake.
Any questions just ask – I don’t know yet what colour the t shirts are so, no point in asking me that.Thanks & Regards
