Here’s the results of the February Tavy 5k race which make interesting reading. There were 79 finishers and the first two places were taken by TAC U17 M runners – Fynn Baker and Connor Duffin – with a Vet55M (Langdon Williams of Exmoor Harriers) taking third place. All three came in under 18 minutes.
Of special note was TAC’s Zoe Bigham who finished in 7th place with a new Age Category Record for a U13 W. Winners of their Vet 70M and Vet 65 M finished in 20th and 21st places – TAC’s Allan Herdman and Steve Hales of Team Bath AC respectively.
First Sen W was Lucy Coad of South West Road Runners, finishing in 5th place. Interestingly, first Sen M (Wesley Smith – unattached) was pushed down to 19th place.
There were great results right down the order, so congratulations to all! A special welcome to Plympton Instinctive Sports who fielded 11 runners as part of their Grand Prix series.
